 UK universities deregister Nigerian students, Send them back home amid new Visa law 


A Nigerian Twitter user has claimed that some Nigerian students have been deregistered by some schools in the United Kingdom. 

@Oluomoofderby further revealed that the Nigerian students were deregistered and asked to leave the country over late school fees payments. He tweeted; 

 So many universities have deregistered students in the UK and advised to leave the country. Late repayments of tuition fees.”

  Tinubu seeks support for varsities. President Bola Tinubu has called on stakeholders to join hands with the government in assisting universities in the country. The President noted that the education sector should not be left in the hands of the government alone, saying all stakeholders must develop the sector. He made the call on Saturday, during his presidential address delivered at the 32nd Convocation of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State.
