Jigawa State Police Nabs Four Notorious POS and Phone Thieves

Reign of Terror: Housebreaking and Theft in Kazaure Metropolis

The suspects, not limited to POS and phone theft, were also specialists in housebreaking and theft. The communities of Kanti, Katoge, and Shagari Quarters, all nestled within Kazaure metropolis, bore the brunt of their criminal activities.

Operation Breakthrough: A Detailed Account

The arrest transpired on 15/12/2023, at approximately 0700hrs, as the gallant men of the Kazaure Division acted on in-depth intelligence. One of the key figures identified is Najib Murtala, 23 years old, hailing from Galandi Quarters. Accompanied by three others, the suspects were found in possession of incriminating evidence, including a P.O.S machine and two Android handsets.

The Revelation: Nine-Man Syndicate Exposed

Upon further investigation, it was unveiled that the arrested individuals operated as a nine-man syndicate. Their criminal enterprise spanned four years, leaving a trail of theft and terror in the communities they targeted.
